Tank Trade-In Program

Save even more by trading in your old IBC tanks when you buy from us. Our trade-in program gives you instant credit toward your purchase and keeps containers out of the waste stream.

How Trade-In Works

Bring your old IBC tanks when you pick up new ones and receive an instant credit toward your purchase. The trade-in value depends on the condition and grade of the tanks you are returning. This is the simplest way to keep your costs low and avoid accumulating empty containers at your facility.

Trade-In Values

Clean food-grade tanks in good condition: $30-$60 credit per unit. Industrial tanks in fair condition: $15-$35 credit. Damaged tanks with intact cages: $5-$15 credit. We assess trade-ins on the spot — no appointment needed.

Benefits

Reduce your net container cost by 10-30% through trade-in credits. Eliminate the hassle and cost of storing empty containers. Contribute to the circular economy by keeping tanks in productive use instead of letting them sit idle.

Consignment Sales Option

Have a large inventory of surplus IBC tanks but unsure of their current market value? Our consignment program lets you place your tanks with us for sale without upfront commitment. We handle listing, storage, marketing, and fulfillment. You receive payment when the tanks sell, minus our consignment fee (typically 20-25% of sale price). This is ideal for businesses liquidating equipment, closing facilities, or managing seasonal surplus.

Common Questions

What determines the price of a used IBC tank?

Pricing depends on the tank grade, previous contents, structural condition, age, and current market demand. Food-grade tanks from single-use applications command the highest resale value. We evaluate every tank individually to ensure fair pricing for both buyers and sellers.

Can I inspect the tanks before purchasing?

Absolutely. You are welcome to visit our facility at 8520 G St, Omaha, NE 68127 during business hours to inspect inventory in person. We also provide detailed photos and condition reports for remote buyers.

Do you offer warranties on used tanks?

All Grade A and Rebottled tanks include a 90-day warranty against structural defects and valve failure. Grade B tanks carry a 60-day warranty. Grade C tanks carry a 30-day structural warranty. All reconditioned tanks include a leak-free guarantee for the warranty period.

How quickly can I get tanks after ordering?

In-stock tanks are available for same-day pickup. Delivery within the Omaha metro area is typically scheduled within 1-2 business days. Large orders and out-of-state shipments may require additional lead time — typically 3-7 business days.

Do you buy tanks from outside the Omaha area?

Yes. We buy tanks from across the Midwest — Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota, and beyond. For large quantities (20+), we will send our truck to pick up from your location at no charge within our service area. For smaller quantities outside the metro, we can coordinate a mutually convenient arrangement.

Can I set up a recurring purchase or sellback arrangement?

Absolutely. Many of our business customers operate on standing orders — receiving a set number of tanks on a weekly or monthly schedule, and returning empty tanks for buyback credit. We offer custom contracts with locked-in pricing, priority scheduling, and dedicated account management. Contact us to discuss your recurring needs.

What payment methods do you accept?

For buying: cash, check, ACH transfer, credit card (Visa, MC, Amex), and purchase orders with approved net-30 terms. For selling: we pay by cash or check on pickup, or ACH within 48 hours. Net-30 invoicing available for recurring sellback accounts.

Do you offer financing on large orders?

We do not offer direct financing, but we do offer flexible payment terms for qualified business accounts. Net-30 terms are standard for approved commercial customers. For very large orders (100+ units), we can discuss phased delivery with staggered payments.
